Though it was a bit cloudy on their wedding day, Kristin and Michael didn’t let it bother them. These two had an awesome wedding full of fun, laughter, and a whole lotta love! The two were married in a beautiful church then headed to the top of Mt. Washington for some photos in front of the the mesmerizing Pittsburgh skyline. Next, they were swept off to a high energy reception at the Sheraton in Station Square where they danced the night away with their guests. We had a lovely day with he couple and are honored they chose us to capture memories that will last a lifetime. Although no one could seem to get the couple’s names straight (even the bride’s uncle during the ceremony!) no one could be confused about how much Tyler and Brandon love each other! These two are a perfect pair, and they had a perfect day for a wedding, with beautiful weather and a stunning bride, Tyler. Her dress was amazing, as were her blinged out bridesmaids dresses and chic reception decor! These two were so excited to see one another, they couldn’t even wait until the ceremony, so they did a first look!  They met before the wedding to have photos taken at the brides show-stopping home and then in North Park. The first look helped to make the day run smoother, left a lot of  time for photos, and allowed for them to move quickly from the church to the reception, and not keep their guests waiting for hours. We were privileged to share in this couple’s special day, and we will you all the happiness in the world, Tyler & Brandon!

Amanda and Alan kicked off memorial day weekend by getting married! The two were married at the beautiful St. Bernard’s Church in Mt. Lebanon, then headed to the Carnegie Mellon Columns in Oakland to take some classic Pittsburgh wedding photos. They partied the night away at the Marriott City Center, and trust us- their guests knew how to party! Congratulations Amanda and Alan! It was our honor to share in your special day, and we wish you a long, happy future together!

Grant and Emily’s wedding was no ordinary wedding for the Ovation Images team- it was a personal celebration for one of our own! Emily is Don’s beautiful daughter and she was married to the love of her life, Grant in Albuquerque, New Mexico on May 18th, 2013. Shawn went down to New Mexico with Don to celebrate and photograph the wedding, but even Don took a few shots (as photographers we can’t go to a wedding and not pick up a camera)! The couple chose mostly local vendors, including a  fantastic outdoor venue called Casas de Suenos, but the bride did get her dress from Davids Bridal! The day as a whole was fantastic, beautiful bride, beautiful wedding, beautiful memories. So join in with us to wish one of our very own, Grant and Emily, congratulations on their marriage! Jeremy and Bethany’s wedding day was full of beauty… from their venues to the details every moment was beautiful, but nothing was more beautiful than Bethany! The filled their day with some classic Pittsburgh Locations including the Heinz Chapel on the University of Pittsburgh campus and the Carnegie Music Hall Foyer, located in the Carnegie Natural History Museum. They even stopped by the classic columns at the Carnegie Mellon University  to take some photos with their bridal party. Joshua and Katrina had a beautiful winter wedding at the Circuit Center in Pittsburgh! They made sure to get a bunch of great photos by taking advantage of the afternoon light and taking some shots before the wedding at some classic Pittsburgh locations including the Carnegie Mellon Columns. We love everything about their wedding day from the cool trolley transportation to the small handmade details. But our favorite part? John and Kerri had a beautiful winter wedding, with surprisingly un-winterlike weather! The nice weather allowed us to get some great shots on the north shore and surrounding areas, just steps away from the Priory where the two were married. Their wedding was not only beautiful, it was a lot of fun! Everyone got in on the fun- and we were sure to capture every single guest- which was no easy feat, but totally worth it!
